I emailed Pigs, A Sanctuary today to try to get donation and volunteer info. www.pigs.org They're located in Shepherdstown, WV so it's something actually local that I could get involved in. I'll let you know what I find out. I also was referred to a great site that has DC/VA/MD vegetarian evenets www.vsdc.org (Vegetarian Society of District of Columbia). Also check out veggieboards.com, vegsource.com, and christianveg.com.
